Today we will focus on the fun ways to add and manipulate text.
- Show and Tell Color Echo Pieces
- Q & A on Filter Gallery and Photo Retouching
- How to Add, Manipulate & Rasterize Text
- How to make text stand out against tricky backgrounds
- “Safe Areas” Text Exercise
- Above and Beyond: Practice using the styles in the “f ”style menu on the bottom of the layers palette on whole layers. This works especially well for layers that have been extracted. Can an entire layer have a drop shadow, inner glow, or stroke?
Homework: Play with text. Practice warping it and adding different styles. Practice masking it. Optional: Try the font exercise on the handout. For those who have chosen to, prepare to share your quick and easy WOW effect.
